Home Deliveries During the Pandemic
Firstly, our apologies for the lack of recent posts.
Unfortunately, the Hall itself has had to be closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, although we would hope to reopen as and when restrictions on social distancing are eased.
However, we would like to draw your attention to two key initiatives running in the Parish and in the surrounding area.
Firstly, the Westhampnett Community Volunteers' Group is collecting groceries and prescriptions for individuals who are self-isolating. The phone line - 07493 519663 - is manned between 10am until noon; messages can be left outside these hours.
Secondly, we would like to draw your attention to a website - www.chichesterathome.co.uk - which provides details of local retailers who are delivering groceries and other essentials during this period.
Finally, we would urge everyone to stick to the government guidelines:
Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home)
If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
Wash your hands as soon as you get home
Do not meet others, even friends or family.
You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.
Please stay safe.
